All Black

Those of you who know me or are followers of the blog, are well aware that I am a color fanatic. I love wearing pops of color and mixing and matching different color combinations to make a statement. Therefore, today's post may seem a little "off-base". 

There are few colors that are more ingrained in the fashion industry than black. From the Coco Chanel's LBD to the "____ is the new black" trademark line. There is no denying that black can make the ultimate impression of sophistication. Pairing together an all black ensemble can be prime chic status. Because black is so versatile and has the illusion of "slimming" one's physique...it becomes the staple outfit for many. As long as you don't take black as the write-off for all of your weekly wear, turning it into a uniform, you are fine.

Today I am wearing black J.Crew Minnie pants, a black turtleneck, black equestrian style boots, a vintage black coat, white & gold earrings, and pearls. 

Spring Fever

Even though our groundhog friend said 6 more weeks of winter...I am loving this spring fever theme for {long distance loving}'s Friday's Fancies! Blue Minnie pants, beige top, and orange blazer are the outfits foundation. Add some flashy accessories like these yellow and gold earrings and gold ring. And a little bit of print with the leopard shoes. Swooning over this look and eagerly waiting for Spring.
