Lyford Cay

The high net-worth residents of Lyford Cay, located on the western tip of New Providence, Bahamas, are known more for their old wasp mores and unlocked doors. The compound even has a communal club with a pink tented diving pavilion that's like something out of a Slim Aarons photo. Since it's founding in 1966 by the Canadian brewery tycoon E.P. Taylor, Lyford's members, including a smattering of Greeks shipping heirs, Henry Ford II, the Aga Khan, the Paleys, the Bacardis and Sean Connery, have fiercely guarded their privacy, even in the social media age.
Leave it to Town & Country to get the pass for a private photo tour
