Thinking Pink Flamingos

I spotted this coat in the Haute Couture street style albums. It's quite charming - a whimsical work of art. If you look closely, the drawings almost resemble a coloring book! A couple of weeks ago, I was a little bored one night, so I grabbed a coloring book and spent the evening coloring. My coworker gave me the My Wonderful World of Shoes coloring book and I had fun mixing and matching colors, bringing a little "pizazz" to the fabulous shoes in the book. Granted my drawings were quite juvenile, but when you are having fun - it doesn't matter! Needless to say, the imperfect pink lines in the flamingo finish make me feel like, one day, my coloring has the potential to be haute couture :)

Miroslava Duma wears the dress coat down the pink carpet - well, of course. Wouldn't life be so perfect to have a complementary walkway wherever you go?
And, the designer, Vika Gazinskaya, wears the Blouson Dress.
Tres chic, no? For a price tag of $2,915...it better be!

ballerina skirts

Tonight is the world premiere of King Arthur's Camelot. This production is the highlight of the Cincinnati's Ballet's 50 year celebration. I am thrilled to be going - and can't wait to see the performance. Fittingly, the event demands "twirl" worthy inspiration and I am loving all of these skirts!

Thanksgiving party skirts

Mrs. Lilien is a regal figure in the blogging world with her playful and cocktail party-centric character. Her blog posts are filled with whimsical interpretations of modern mad-men esque parties with mixed drinks, party gowns, and the right amount of glamour. If the muse couldn't be anymore enjoyable, she writes her blog posts in rhyme. It's absolutely, charmingly, wonderful.
She starred in a duet photo shoot with Miss Wood for a Thanksgiving affair. Pulling the perfect fall shades in a Palm Springs flair, the two look lovely.
Even though it's bitter cold in the rest of the nation today (I had to pull out my winter parka), hopefully this color spurt adds a little bit of sunshine to your day!
What are you wearing this Thanksgiving?
Happy Monday, toodles!

pink blooms

I just treated myself to an absolutely fabulous (yet probably unnecessary) pink floral ball gown! It might be a maxi skirt in most of your eyes...but to me it is truly ball gown worthy. I am literally in LOVE  and can't wait to wear it out and about it!

Right now, my biggest muse is this stunning woman who was snapped by The Satorialist. I don't think I could pull off the fedora...but everything else about the look is simply DIVINE.
